Early Years Teacher

My name is Leilani Heramis, from the Philippines.
I have been teaching preschoolers for over 20 years, well over half of my working life. I chose this age group because I love children and I want to take part in their growth and development. I am inspired by the thought of seeing them one day as adults being productive contributors to society.
As an IB educator, I enjoy helping our learners understand different languages and cultures, enabling them to explore and construct their own personal identities. Moreover, I enjoy providing support to help them develop into confident, principled thinkers who make lasting relationships with other people worldwide.
